Well, like I said, I'm not going to let the recent megaupload disaster stop me from blogging. Right now deposit files is the only uploader I can get to work here. It's slow, this cassette took nearly 8 hours to upload so there will be fewer posts I guess. I'm letting everything as it is on this blog for now, you never know, I might delete everything only to find all the links alive again the next day....
Anyways, here's a funny one, In Indonesian language the F becomes a P, so here's the Orkes Melayu Bob Geldop with a whole bunch of Indonesian and Western hits played non-stop....

I've been hoping the swine who shut down Megaupload would fail, but also considering - what if they win?
There are other ways to disseminate this music that is unavailable anywhere else, music that cannot be had for love or money. What if you put your offerings out on one of the services like SoulSeek? (entire albums can be uploaded and downloaded in their entirety on SoulSeek) You could announce a release on your site, then the rest of the world could download through that site, or some other service you might choose.
Just an idea, if it comes to it. Because if it does, we have to adapt. Music is a human endeavor we've been doing since we left the trees, and having it regulated by record companies looking for a captive audience to purchase their atrocious commercial jingles they pass off as music is just not acceptable.
well i'm just sitting it out for now, soulseek could be next, enything could be next with the way these copywrong nazi-bastards are going now. MEDIAFIRE DOES NOT WORK HERE, multiupload doesn't either and i'm reading about more uploaders going down, right now i'm only uploading more out of protest than anything else, this goes much further than just simple outdated copyright laws, this is all part of the whole taking our freedoms away in my view. but thanks !

A lot of sites are going down. This community needs a safe haven for it's servers that's neither a vicious dictatorship, a fawning slave to US government fiat or one of the enemy in it's own right. I'm thinking of places now... Perhaps Venezuela or Bolivia. They've got great leaders there who seem to get it.
